Meditation is re-packaged by Americans as “Mindfulness” “Emotional intelligence” …predators digesting other’s culture and claiming it as theirs.

Paying attention to my emotions and using the information underlying those emotions to make decisions in my life is the compass that provides me the right direction and helps me choose the right studies, job, wife and whatnot

Yes, pay attention to what happens inside you for 30 minutes and you will read yourself as a book. Yes, you own mind is filled with emotions and detecting their nature and researching their origin can be very interesting.

How to interpret the symbolic content of your emotions is the key to success.

Just fine tuning the “emotions” to  find the zone where they shed light on who you are really deep inside and make it a reality in life by  working towards that reality is the way to a fulfilling life.

Rejecting copying the general model and opting for the original decision making skills  need to be encouraged.

PATIENCE and silence are needed to look in to your own mind. Meditation makes this easy where you can see your thoughts entering your “mind house” one by one. Now , Americans call this  “emotional intelligence” but that is the same what our ancestors did more than 5000 years. Digesting other’s culture is what they excel at . So, Indians have yet another reason to go to their roots and not going after those who re-package our culture by other “etiquets” and “names” …this is loosing time and energy , so better meditate and explore how your thoughts function to identify who you are emotionally and deep-inside.
