2. The Afghan ruler· of Ghazni , known as Mohammad Ghori (who succeeded “Mahmud Ghazni” , the Gujarat invader and sacker of Somnath) invaded Punjab and conquered his way· up to very close· to Delhi . However , his forces were defeated by the forces of Prithviraj Chauhan in the first· battle· of Tarain in 1191 AD . Ghori was badly wounded and his army was thrashed . It is said that Raja Jaichand gave military support· to the Chauhan king , and the combined forces were too strong· for the Muslim enemy . It is stated that Mohammad Ghori was brought in captivity to Delhi . King Chauhan’s advisors suggested that he be· beheaded . But in the magnanimous Rajput tradition· , Prithviraj allowed him to go· away Scot-free . The very next· year , in 1192 AD , Ghori came back with an attack· . This time· Raja Jaichand refused to support· Chauhan with his forces . (Hence , the clubbing of Jaichand and Mir Jaffar as our national· traitors ! ) . Chauan lost to Ghori in the second· battle· of Tarain in 1192 AD . Delhi came under Islam . It is stated that Chauhan was taken to Ghazni , his eyes were gouged out , and he was eventually buried there . Now , compare· this brutality by Ghori with the magnanimous Rajput tradition· , where Prithviraj allowed Ghori to go· away Scot-free .

Before Ghazni invasion· , the South Asian subcontinent comprising the present India , Afghanistan , Pakistan , Bangladesh , Nepal , Bhutan , Sikkim , Burma , Srilanka were all ruled by Hindu kings only . The people· were all Hindus , Buddhists and Jain only . There were no Muslim or Christian in the sub· continent .

Every Muslim invaders , who invaded the Indian sub· continent , including the Mughals , had only one agenda· and that was to convert·all the Hindus , Buddhists and Jain ( All Infidels) into Muslims . And , all the Muslim invaders were quite remarkably successful in their agenda· . The result· was Afghanistan , Pakistan and Bangladesh , which were all once Hindu countries , became completely Muslim countries . The Muslim invaders had already forcefully converted millions of Indians and , had not the British ruled India for those 200 years· from the 18 th century , the remaining Indians would have· also been converted and India would also have· become· a complete· Muslim country· .
5. British introduced modern weaponry to Indians . They taught the Indians how to use· those modern weaponry and how to be· disciplined and organised while fighting the enemy . This modern weaponry stopped the Muslim invasion· of India and further conversions .

1. Some Indians argue· that Moghals had become· weak· and Hindu kingdoms like Maratha , Vijayanagara were rising and so , Hindus would have· dominated . But , the Muslim history· teaches us they would have· repeatedly attacked India till they achieved their goals . Remember Mahmud of Ghazni , who invaded India 17 times . The treacherous· defeat· of Vijayanagara Empire by the united Sultanates , followed by destruction· and looting brought an end· to a dream· .
2. The reality is Hindus are generally soft· , mild· , adjusting and peace·loving people· . But Muslim invaders were always ferocious , ruthless , cunning· and aggressive· . So it was a mismatch . We therefore needed modern Weaponry from British to face· further Muslim invasion· .
